Welcome to Health and Counseling
When you come to Kenyon, you fill out a medical history form, so the staff can better serve you if you need help. The Health and Counseling Center has regular hours and encourages individual appointments. Our staff includes a physician as well as nurses and nurse practitioners. They can address a full spectrum of medical issues.
The counseling staff includes professionals with a range of specialty areas, and we try to match each student with the counselor who can best meet his or her needs. Both individual meetings and group sessions are available. The staff offers skill-building workshops on such topics as relaxation, assertiveness, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, alcohol abuse, eating and body-image concerns, and career choices. The counseling center can be reached at 740-427-5643.
