Honor roll listings at Kenyon College have traditionally been composed of contributions to the annual fund. As of July 1, 2015, Kenyon will include all gifts from donors regardless of the designation.
This new policy will allow us to recognize our donors for their total giving each year. The honor roll is distributed each year in alumni class letters and a few select annual fund mailings—it is not published online. The inaugural list using this method will be compiled in the fall of 2016 following a full fiscal year of giving.
Here is an example of how the change could make a difference in your recognition society: In previous years, your gifts of $2,000 to the Kenyon Fund and $2,000 to an endowed scholarship would have placed you in the Peirce Giving Society for your annual fund contributions of $1,000 to $2,499. Under the new policy, you would be recognized in the Bexley Society for gifts totaling $2,500 to $4,999. Should you wish to be excluded from this listing or be listed for your gifts to the Kenyon Fund or Kenyon Parents Fund only, please contact Mary Frazee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support.
