KC-MEDS (Knox Country Medical Experiences Designed by Students) is a student organization at Kenyon College that is devoted to undergraduate exploration of medical, veterinary, and health professions. We aim to enable Pre-Medical, Pre-Health, Pre-Dental and Pre-Veterinary students to gain exposure to the field and practice of medicine through shadowing experiences with local health professionals. We are also concerned with the dissemination of information regarding the medical profession through events and activities coordinated on campus. We are also committed to providing MCAT study material and facilitating MCAT review opportunities.
KCKCH Volunteers
KCKCH Volunteers is a group of students oriented towards sharing experience, tips, and support to those students who volunteer at Knox County Community Hospital (KCH). Students, who have shadowed, volunteer, or want to volunteer at KCH are encouraged to join on in our weekly meetings where we will talk about our weekly shifts, which involve interesting cases and experience we may have had, as well as sharing tips for how to get more involved and get the most out of your volunteering experience.
The goal of this organization is to provide Kenyon Athletes with the opportunity to come together discuss aspects of their faith, as well as provide community service and outreach that aim at giving back to the surrounding community.

Kenyon College Athletes for Equality's mission is to promote an accepting and welcoming environment for all student-athletes and to educate the student body on the presence of LGBTQ athletes in sports. We will be meeting monthly to discuss ways in which we can promote acceptance as well as holding various events and discussions pertaining to enhancing the experience of LGBTQ and ally student-athletes.
Kenyon Student Athletes (KSA) maintains a level of responsibility and commitment to Kenyon College. Many service projects are completed by KSA that benefit both campus and community. In addition to these projects, you will be working with members of other teams to create a positive support system for Kenyon athletics. WANT TO JOIN? Knitting Club
The Kenyon Knitting Club is an organization that seeks to help the community through the skill of knitting. Members will make projects in the group setting that will be donated to a local homeless shelter during the winter months. Any level of experience is welcomed; newcomers will be taught the basics of knitting while resources on advanced techniques will be provided to more experienced members.
We also welcome crochet and other needlepoint crafts to join us for an couple hours of dedicated crafting and camaraderie!
