ADELANTE: Latinx Student Association is a campus wide organization whose main objective is supporting Latinx students and promoting a sense of community on campus. Through lectures, films, publications, and other social and educational events, it is our purpose to engage the Kenyon community with a larger cultural and social understanding of the Latin American/Latinx community here at Kenyon and abroad to increase awareness of its rich and complex history. As a support system, we strive to help each of our members through individual and collective problems, which has proven beneficial for our members’ success at Kenyon.

The African Students Association is committed to nourishing cultural, intellectual, political and economic awareness about the African continent.

The Alpha Delta Phi of Kenyon College is a Brotherhood dedicated to the betterment of its members as well as the community at large. As a literary society, we emphasis the illustrious field with such events as the Freshman Literary Competition. Representing a wide array of interests and backgrounds, this brotherhood is open to all men of the campus, and seeks to help brothers develop a sense of commitment, motivation and genuine affection for the fraternity, but also the ability to emerge from this undergraduate career and make their place as leaders in the world.

To foster intellectual, cultural, ethical and social development of its members; to instill a commitment to lifelong leadership; to develop women who enrich the lives of others; to promote an environment of shared understanding and respect for values, expectations and goals; to sustain relationships that transcend the collegiate experience.

The Archon Society, founded in 1947, is a co-ed Greek organization. Archon seeks to bridge the gap between the Kenyon and Knox County communities through community service and outreach. With over 100 members from all classes at Kenyon, members of Archon pride themselves on their devotion to service and to their fellow members.

The mission of the Asia Society of Kenyon is to promote awareness and celebrate the distinct cultures of the varied Asian countries of the world for the benefit of further understanding and unity of the Kenyon community. We support and encourage the development of intellectual, cultural, and social understandings of different Asian ethnicities. We are active in sponsoring events that appeal to a myriad of Kenyon community members against the backdrop of Asian culture. Our group focuses on discussion, promotion and celebration in order to spread awareness about Asia and debunk stereotypical myths of "Asian-ness."

This club provides ballroom dance instruction from skilled students and professional teachers to all interested students and members of the Kenyon and Gambier community. The club is not exclusive to any experience or interest level. Both American and International styles are covered in lessons as well as some fun dances such as salsa and paso doble. Students can choose to be only in the social club, attending club events and lessons at Kenyon, or to also participate in the competitive team. The competitive team focuses more on technique and skill and travels regularly to intercollegiate competitions. The dances we teach and compete in are divided into four categories. International Latin: ChaCha, Rumba, Jive, Samba International Standard: Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot American Rhythm: ChaCha, Rumba, Swing, Mambo American Smooth: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz We occasionally do other dances just for fun, including Charleston, Lindy Hop, Paso Doble, and Salsa.

Mission: To leave Kenyon a better place than when we arrived by aligning and restoring ourselves and our relationships, work and play with God's will for the Kingdom's sake.

The purpose of Beer and Sex is to aid the incoming first-year students in their transition to Kenyon's social culture so they can make informed and safe decisions. We establish personal relationships with our first-year students and provide them with important resources (including ourselves) to enable them to make educated decisions regarding alcohol, drugs, sexual misconduct and safe-sex practices. We create a casual, yet personal atmosphere during meetings that allows the first-year students to bond with each other and with us, their upperclassmen Beer and Sex advisors.

The brothers of Beta Theta Pi take the idea of brotherhood seriously, becoming more diverse every year. Academics combined with extracurricular activities enhance the Kenyon experience. To build lasting bonds of friendship and brotherhood the Beta ritual calls for: Mutual Assistance, Intellectual Growth, Trust, Responsible Conduct, and Integrity.

Beyond Therapy is Kenyon's Oldest Sketch Comedy Troupe. We specialize in comedy.

KABLE seeks to improve the academic achievement of Latino/a students in Knox County through cooperation with the Mount Vernon Salvation Army. Through the use of bilingual pedagogies, ACT/SAT test preparation, and bilingual guidance for students and their families through the college application process, KABLE works so that every student enrolled in our program can one day gain admissions to and attend college.

The Billy Shakes Project is a theatre education and outreach troupe that prepares and performs 40 minute abridged Shakespeare shows in and around the Mount Vernon/Gambier community.

Our goal is to provide a space for anyone of the African diaspora and seek to produce engaging events in an effort to increase dialogue about the various cultures present in the diaspora. In addition, we hope to be an open door and community for those native to the African diaspora and those interested in it. The Black Student Union is an inclusive space for all.

The purpose of the group is to provide students with an opportunity to put on a show, while providing a more relaxed environment than other dramatic groups on campus. We give students the opportunity to direct, which is rarely offered through other venues. Recently, we have become the only group that produces any full-length musical theater, having produced two musicals this year. Brave Potato has put on four musicals in the past two years which were the only musicals put on at Kenyon during that time.

The Broken Legs is Kenyon’s premier coeducational musical theatre A cappella group. We bring a rich appreciation for the art of musical theatre to the Kenyon community.

The Campus Senate is a body comprised of faculty members, administrators, and elected student representatives. It serves as a forum in which students, faculty, and administrative officers communicate and consider matters of general concern to the College.

Canterbury Kenyon, the Episcopal campus ministry, is here to love God together, grow together in faith, and welcome all. Canterbury Kenyon works with Harcourt Student Ministry to support the spiritual life of students.

We're a co-ed a cappella group specializing in contemporary rock and pop music — though we're not averse to country, hip hop and other genres. This year is our 50th in existence. We have fun.

The Kenyon College Cheerleading Team cheers at football games as well as men's basketball games.

For chess players of all skill levels. We mostly play, but we also have tutorials and theory for those interested.

Chinese Culture Club (CCC) seeks to explore Chinese history and culture with the Kenyon community. Through monthly meetings, we will cover a wide variety of topics, from dynasties to traditional literature to authentic cuisine, etc., and prepare special events. We hope the community will have a richer understanding of the breadth and depth of Chinese culture and will enjoy it.

Cinearts is a film group in association with the Gund Gallery that screens films and promotes discussion within the Kenyon community.

We are Kenyon's Italian Club, dedicated to fostering an appreciation of Italian culture and language. Our events include monthly campus-wide pasta dinners as well as smaller club activities intended to introduce various aspects of Italian culture, such as film, theater, music, cooking, games and basic language.

We give people interested in playing soccer a chance to participate in a more regular and structured form of soccer than intramural sports, without having the commitment of varsity sports. In addition to regular workouts, we also hope to provide our members with chances to further educate themselves in this beautiful game.

We exist for those who are interested in swimming and being part of a team, but not at the varsity level. We are a brand new competitive club sport on campus and we accept all ability levels. Our purpose is to provide a healthy dose of recreation and sense of team spirit and community.

To explore and perform a cappella music from the Renaissance, Classical, Folk and Contemporary Vocal Jazz repertoires.

Members of this student organization volunteer with the College Township Fire Department, providing Emergency Medical Services and fire protection for College Township (including Kenyon and the Village of Gambier), Monroe Township, and the surrounding areas of Knox County. The goal of this student group is to facilitate member involvement with the rest of the student body through public outreach and community education events.

We’re an organization dedicated to the study of Comparative World Literature and promoting the understanding of literature in a global context. We are very closely aligned with the Comparative World Literature Department at Kenyon College.

The Kenyon Computing Club aims to aid in the education and cultivation of the computer science community at Kenyon College. The club is open to anyone in the community, and anyone concentrating in Computer Science is highly encouraged to join. The sciences all have natural computational elements, so this club will help bring students in these disciplines together. The Kenyon Computing Club is an organization for fellow computer scientists to come together and reap the benefits of collaborative work and discussions. The club will also aim to bring experienced speakers to the college to share their expertise and inspire the students to continue their academic pursuit of computer science.

What is Contact Improv? A physical collaboration, separate from the predetermined positions you see in most dance forms. It allows you to be in the moment as you explore different points of contact on your body with someone else's. It can be physically demanding and athletic or it can be very tender and therapeutic. It encourages you to move past physical barriers you have with people because an inherent part of CI is the weight sharing. Mission Statement: CI Club provides students with basic instruction in Contact Improv, as well as an environment where they can explore the dance form as they so choose. Once the building blocks of safety and exploration are established, students are encouraged to participate in more free-form "contact jams," which are held on a regular basis.

Cornerstones provides Kenyon and the greater Knox County community with positive, affirming messages about the love of Christ through two annual concerts as well as a tour and various other performances throughout the year.

KWCCWT is a weekly writing and critique group aimed at creating a supportive environment for writers of all levels and styles. All genres and media are welcome, and anyone who wants to share work or comments is welcome.

The Kenyon College Dance & Dramatic Club works to develop a community of artists who support each other in their work and in their personal artistic growth. In cooperation with the Department of Dance, Drama and Film, KCDC produces a full season of plays and dance concerts that encompass a variety of styles, genres and historical periods. In addition, KCDC hosts guest artists and performers and organizes trips to national theatre and dance festivals as well as local events.

We provide a way for students who are interested in hip hop dance to learn, choreograph and perform for their fellow students!

The Phi Chapter of Delta Phi was founded at Kenyon in 1940. Hanna Hall is home to the fraternity's division housing and its lounge. The Phi chapter strives to recruit members who are academically motivated, socially outgoing and who have a strong sense of community.

Since its 1858 founding at Bethany College, Delta Tau Delta chapters have spread across the U.S. and Canada. Kenyon's chapter, established in 1881, was one of the first Delt chapters in the nation. Members excel at community service, academic and athletic excellence, and leadership while maintaining a strong and social brotherhood.

The purpose of KC Democrats is to engage and inform the Gambier and Mount Vernon community on issues that will directly affect them. While we do what we can to help elect officials that align themselves with our political views--usually democrats--we also dedicate ourselves to non-partisan issues, such as the Mount Vernon City School Levy and the repeal of Senate Bill 5. We work to bring candidates, politicians, and activists to campus to engage students and the surrounding community on current political issues. Our goal is to create a more informed, more engaged student body that is aware of not only national political issues, but the those that affect Gambier, Knox County, and Ohio as well.

Our purpose is to transform Kenyon into a more sustainable school, while also raising campus awareness of environmental issues. We connect students to alumni, the administration and the general school infrastructure in order to work toward this goal. Epsilon Delta Mu is a local sorority at Kenyon College. Through the principles of happiness, friendship, knowledge and virtue, we aspire to enrich ourselves, our sisters and the community as a whole. Epsilon Delta Mu strives to unite women in the community and beyond through service and compassion.

Horses and horsemanship have a long history at Kenyon College, dating back to 1934’s original equitation program. Our modern team was started in 1996, and has grown tremendously as a competitive club sport while maintaining a commitment to our original inclusivity. We welcome everyone regardless of riding experience or ability, and it is precisely our resulting diversity that makes us such an extraordinary presence on campus and in the show ring. We are a registered team with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, and we attend 6 to 8 shows per year. Back in Gambier, all members take weekly or bi-weekly lessons, as well as helping with various fundraisers and activities we host throughout the academic year for the Kenyon campus and general community, from pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners to hayrides and our famous Pony Rides.

Feminist Film Club is about meeting and discussing film and pop culture through a feminist lens, paying special attention to media produced and highlighting the work of female, trans, or non-binary individuals, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals. We also host film screening and produce a semesterly zine of feminist pop culture criticism. All people are welcome!

It shall be the purpose of Kenyon College Fencing Club to Provide instruction in Olympic style fencing to the Kenyon College Community, and open an environment where people can enjoy fencing.

We facilitate and promote student filmmaking. KFM is a network of students with interest in writing, producing, editing and loving film (or digital video). We also hope to celebrate and honor those films and filmmakers that participate.

Fools on the Hill is Kenyon's improv comedy troupe. We are Kenyon's oldest comedy troupe and perform unscripted comedy show throughout the semester in the Peirce Pub.

Glambier is a literary magazine that aims to publish creative work by people of gender and sexual minorities. Our goals are to create a safe place for queer and genderqueer people to share their creative work, and to promote activism among the LGBTQA+ community.

Greek Council is a student government organization which presides over fraternities, sororities, and societies. It coordinates various social and service related activities of its member groups in order to promote a sense of purpose and community. Comprised of thirteen voting members of the General Session and ten voting executive members, Greek Council also serves to both draft and pass legislation pertaining to all aspects of Greek Life at Kenyon.

Her Campus Kenyon is our chance to be involved in the multi-institutional and international #1 online community for college women. We want Her Campus Kenyon to be your homepage, your go-to dashboard for all things Kenyon, news, and lifestyle. Her Campus Kenyon covers everything from dating advice to current events and breaking world news in real time—and isn't just for women. We have been recognized by Her Campus National which hosts the chapters of over 200 worldwide colleges and universities as a PINK LEVEL chapter. This means our work has been recognized for its excellence and we are some of the first in line to be considered for special partnerships.

HIKA provides Kenyon College students the opportunity to publish their work in a highly selective literary and fine arts journal. We pride ourselves in upholding HIKA's tradition as Kenyon's oldest, ongoing literary publication (founded in 1925). HIKA also offers students interested in editing and publishing the chance to develop these skills while contributing to the assembly of a professional-quality literary journal. HIKA is published once a year.

We goal is to provide support for any students interested in Jewish Life on campus. Facilitating various activities that include both students, faculty, administration and the entire community.

The Horn Gallery at Kenyon College is a student-run arts and performance space. Our mission is to provide Kenyon and the greater community with high quality events in our beautiful little barn. We do a pretty good job too! The Horn was voted Student Organization of the Year in 2011. The building has two floors: the upper level serves as a concert and theatrical performance venue and community space. The lower level is reserved for art exhibitions and is used as a practice room for bands during concerts. Meetings are held every Tuesday night at 10:15pm on the upper floor. Please come and share your ideas, thoughts, or opinions!

Indigenous Nations at Kenyon was established to raise awareness of Indigenous issues, Indigenous identity and Indigenous presence in the Kenyon community. INK strives to educate the Kenyon community about Indigenous people through workshops, panel discussions, film screenings, forums, and by bringing speakers to campus.

The purpose of Model UN is to stimulate debate and simulate the structures and procedures of the United Nations. This group contributes to life at Kenyon by fostering close relationships, preparing students for positions in government and law. Within each weekly meeting current events are discussed which leads to an awareness of global affairs. Honing our rhetoric skills and knowledge of world affairs will prepare us to take on leadership roles after Kenyon. The conferences are opportunities to form new relationships with students from some of the most prestigious educational institutes in the country. We serve as ambassadors of Kenyon. We differ from Mock Trial in that we do not focus on criminal or civil cases, but rather on international affairs with regard to current and historic scenarios. Our active involvement with problem solving and cooperation prepares members to be adaptive and responsive to any scenario. For decades our group has earned awards and upheld a respectable reputation.

To be the voice of international students on campus, to address international student issues and to raise awareness about global and cross-cultural issues through programs and events.

The Kenyon College Investment Club will contain a group of students who meet on a weekly basis to discuss the risks and returns for various investment instruments, including equities, fixed income, ETFs, alternative investments, and commodities. Using the OTIS investment and trading simulator, the club will construct both growth and value portfolios. By collaborating on our investments through both research and discussion, the goal of the investment club is to yield maximum returns for our various portfolios and promote responsible investing.

Our organization is designed to help students learn about, and navigate, the intricacies of Israeli politics, culture and life. With an open environment, where all have a place to speak and be heard, the Kenyon Israel Club will discuss issues that face Israel. A large part of regular meetings will include discussion of current events in Israel and surrounding countries. It is our intention to sponsor lectures, film screenings and open fora to promote the Israeli cause.

KJAS brings together fans of Japanese Animation and introduces the Kenyon community to animation as a viable and diverse artistic medium.

The Japanese Culture Club seeks to give interested students the opportunities to learn about both traditional Japanese culture and modern popular culture. From culturally-themed trips to Columbus to more casual on-campus events, members will experience various aspects of Japanese culture through its food, music, crafts, games, films and more. Some of our ideas for future meetings include making sushi, mochi, and/or matcha; learning about Japanese history, mythology, holidays, and/or games; having a mini manga book club; and maybe even singing karaoke. (New ideas are always welcome!)

KC-MEDS (Knox Country Medical Experiences Designed by Students) is a student organization at Kenyon College that is devoted to undergraduate exploration of medical, veterinary, and health professions. We aim to enable Pre-Medical, Pre-Health, Pre-Dental and Pre-Veterinary students to gain exposure to the field and practice of medicine through shadowing experiences with local health professionals. We are also concerned with the dissemination of information regarding the medical profession through events and activities coordinated on campus. We are also committed to providing MCAT study material and facilitating MCAT review opportunities.

KCKCH Volunteers is a group of students oriented towards sharing experience, tips, and support to those students who volunteer at Knox County Community Hospital (KCH). Students, who have shadowed, volunteer, or want to volunteer at KCH are encouraged to join on in our weekly meetings where we will talk about our weekly shifts, which involve interesting cases and experience we may have had, as well as sharing tips for how to get more involved and get the most out of your volunteering experience.

The goal of this organization is to provide Kenyon Athletes with the opportunity to come together discuss aspects of their faith, as well as provide community service and outreach that aim at giving back to the surrounding community.

Explore, Engage, Experience Student Activities enhances the academic experience by fostering the development of critical thinkers, ethical leaders, and engaged citizens at Kenyon and beyond through our programs, services, and educational opportunities.

Kenyon College Athletes for Equality's mission is to promote an accepting and welcoming environment for all student-athletes and to educate the student body on the presence of LGBTQ athletes in sports. We will be meeting monthly to discuss ways in which we can promote acceptance as well as holding various events and discussions pertaining to enhancing the experience of LGBTQ and ally student-athletes.

Kenyon Student Athletes (KSA) maintains a level of responsibility and commitment to Kenyon College. Many service projects are completed by KSA that benefit both campus and community. In addition to these projects, you will be working with members of other teams to create a positive support system for Kenyon athletics. WANT TO JOIN? The Kenyon Knitting Club is an organization that seeks to help the community through the skill of knitting. Members will make projects in the group setting that will be donated to a local homeless shelter during the winter months. Any level of experience is welcomed; newcomers will be taught the basics of knitting while resources on advanced techniques will be provided to more experienced members. We also welcome crochet and other needlepoint crafts to join us for an couple hours of dedicated crafting and camaraderie!

We arrange and perform a cappella music, with styles ranging from classical to contemporary.

Land Lords' focus is service learning through hands-on conservation work, learning about the ecology and science of conservation practices. This includes assisting the BFEC by managing invasive plant species, blazing trails, and completing necessary construction projects. We also take our work beyond Gambier to learn about the practices at other natural areas in Ohio, such as Mohican State Park. We are also a philanthropic group, and routinely conduct fundraisers for the BFEC field trip scholarship fund.

The Love Your Melon Campus Crew Program is a unique Crew made up of students that are determined to improve the lives of children battling cancer. Campus Crew Members are the driving force behind Love Your Melon. In communities across the country, our Crew Members raise awareness for childhood cancer, represent the brand through promotions and sales events and personally engage with our charitable programming initiatives. The Program has grown to include over 7,500 Crew Members nationwide at over 500 different educational institutions. There is far more work to be done and we to be a part of making it happen.

Kenyon Magnetic Voices serves as a space for students to express themselves through various forms of spoken word. Readings, slams, competitions, showcases, workshops, etc. will be held throughout the year to foster poetic exploration.

Men of Color is an organization dedicated to the success, fellowship, and social stability of male students of color at Kenyon College. We are dedicated to building and strengthening diversity at Kenyon, while helping to recruit, retain, and support men of color on campus. Our organization exists as a forum for our members to express themselves, understand each other’s experiences, and educate others in order to transcend the misunderstandings and stereotypes that may be held by society. As a brotherhood, we strive for greatness in every sense of the word. We strive to develop ourselves from within, and we seek to use our own growth and perspective to support and enrich Kenyon College.

The Kenyon Men's Rugby Football Club strives to be an institution that introduces students to the noble sport of rugby and in doing so builds a brotherhood that Kenyon can be proud to call their own. While the KMRC considers a professional attitude and a serious work ethic to be of paramount importance, we welcome all students regardless of athletic ability or rugby know-how.

"The Middle East Student Association was founded to raise awareness of Middle Eastern and Islamicate culture and politics through mediums such as student forums, movie screenings, charitable fundraisers, guest lecturers, artistic exhibitions, community events, and semi-annual publications. As such, our main focus is not simply disseminating the "culture" of the Middle East and Islamicate World, but rather spreading awareness about world issues that affect our everyday lives. We actively seek to incorporate students from a myriad of backgrounds. Our members include American, Arab, Jewish and international students. We are not an organization that seeks to serve only a distinct group; our organization strives to act as a conduit for all Kenyon students to learn about Middle Eastern politics, societies, and cultures."

We are Kenyon College's premier and only acoustapella group, bringing the joy of folk, alternative, bluegrass, country and many more genres of music to the Kenyon community!

Competition in invitational and regional Mock Trial tournaments through the American Mock Trial Association.

The goal of MSAK is to: 1. To promote an educational and informative outlook on Islam. 2. To dissipate the misconceptions about Islam and make students and the campus community aware of the essential aspects of the religion as well as diversity within the Islamic World. 3. Provide a place where students can freely talk about their religion and discuss common problems.

The aim of NAMI on Campus: Kenyon College is to connect the discussion of mental health and illness on campus with the larger Knox County community in a safe and supportive environment; to destigmatize the conversation about mental illness on campus and in the larger community; and to work with NAMI Knox/Licking Counties to promote its mission of “Education, Advocacy, and Support” of those struggling with mental health issues or those who have loved ones struggling with mental health issues.

The Newman Club is an organization that engages the Kenyon Catholic community. Provides a place for fellowship, fun, and faith for all on campus. Not only do we provide rides for mass we engage in weekly bible studies, prayer nights, and fun group activities.

Folks from both parties able to listen and respond to other people's opinions and have a little fun advancing bipartisan ideology.

Not For Sale equips and mobilizes smart activists to deploy innovative solutions to re-abolish slavery in their own backyards and across the globe.

The purpose of this group is to give Kenyon students the opportunity to experience and learn about the outdoors. We aim at making trips affordable to all students and taking them places (The Adirondacks in upstate New York and The White Mountains in New Hampshire) that they would not have the chance to experience on their own due to costs or outdoors experience. The club aims to challenge students both physically and emotionally and for this reason we take a longer (1 week long) trip over Spring Break. This experience has always lead to incredible bonding and character building that one doesn't receive from a weekend-long trip in the outdoors. On these trips students learn the basics of camping, setting up tents, cooking in the outdoors, outdoor safety etc. which are all important skills to know that require direct experiences to learn. The club brings Kenyon College students together while giving them the opportunity to experience the natural world, both on campus activities such as BFEC hikes, Kokosing canoe trips etc., and on larger backpacking trips in the United States.

The Owl Creeks Singers are Kenyon's first all-female a cappella group. We're a student-run organization and perform two concerts, a revue and several cabarets throughout the academic year. The group has an eclectic, ever-changing repertoire that ranges from soul and pop music to oldies. More than anything, though, Creeks try to keep the idea of community with them at all times: we all strive toward the same goal of making beautiful music together.

Over the past four years, East Knox has undergone various financial problems that left it with many program cuts including: no gym, music or art class in the elementary or jr. high school, a combined jr. and high school, no AP classes, no extracurricular activities and the few sports offered are pay to play, $250 per player. PEKK works to help East Knox in any way we can. We partner with various Kenyon clubs and utilize our own volunteers to bring extracurricular and new learning opportunities to the students of East Knox.

Peeps O'Kenyon is a multi-faceted, co-ed, collective organization that aims to promote kindness and compassion across campus, and beyond. We do this, in part, through the community events we put on, such as Krak Haus, co-sponsoring Horn Gallery Events, and campus-wide events like Deb Ball. A good portion of our group's ethos, however, emerges from our weekly meetings --where students from a variety of demographic, academic, and ideological backgrounds gather to discuss whatever is really on their minds. These meetings are open to any and all Kenyon students; it would be against our Peep mission to foster an environment that is anything but inclusive and nonjudgmental.

The Peer Counselors is a small group of Kenyon students working with Kenyon’s Counseling Center to help promote mental health and well-being within the student body. The role of the Peer Counselors is to open pathways to existing resources, develop student-led discussion groups, and empower the student body through mental health education. The Peer Counselors will put a face on Kenyon’s mental health support system and help connect students to the help they need, while continuing to foster a dialogue about issues related to mental health.

The Pep Band is an all welcoming group of students who love music. It plays for home sporting events to add to the overall spirit of the game. Persimmons is a bi-annual literary magazine that publishes student-created literature and art. Issues are available at the end of each semester, while submissions are reviewed throughout the semester in weekly staff meetings. Issues of Persimmons are always free for anyone on campus, and the meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

Phi Kappa Tau is a values-based fraternity that champions a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership, and exemplary character.

The Philosophy Symposium's mission is to encourage and cultivate philosophical dialogue ranging from classical philosophical questions to problems in contemporary society on the campus of Kenyon College. This shall be done through philosophical discussions open to the entirety of campus, the presentation of student, alumni, and leading expert philosophical work, and the creation of dialogue between different departments and organizations on campus.

The Psychology Club is a student-driven organization supported and advised by the Psychology Department. Psychology Club members organize and host psychology related events concerning: current events, psychology at Kenyon, graduate school in psychology, jobs in psychology, and community service.

QDubs (formerly known as the Queer Women’s Collective) is a confidential, discussion-based group open to members of the LGBTQIA+ community at Kenyon College. Catered to those who are not straight, not cis, or simply not sure, QDubs aims to foster community and support through weekly discussions about queer issues in politics, pop culture, and, most importantly, day to day life. Membership is completely anonymous and is open to any student who does not identify as a straight or cis male.

QMS (Queer Masculinities Society, formerly Queer Men’s Society) aims to develop community among members of Kenyon College’s LGBTQIA+ community by cultivating discussion, offering a social space, and engaging with (while also celebrating) difference. QMS strives to act as a safe and supportive environment while working to inspire a more respectful and diverse campus. QMS centers intersectionality as a guiding principle in its efforts and engages with other affinity groups on campus at the junction of queerness, race, class, gender, faith, ability, and other aspects of identity in an effort to cultivate meaningful conversations and community development. Students who are gay, bisexual, transgender, not straight, not cisgender, and/or not sure, and have experienced or been proximal to masculine identity, masculine societal expectations, and/or masculine gender presentations/performances are given the chance to work through their experiences and find support among a community grappling with issues of masculinity, masculine identity, and queer antagonism. Simply put, if you think QMS might be a place for you, it is absolutely a place for you. While the leaders of QMS openly identify as gay or queer, membership is absolutely anonymous & our dis list is confidential, making it safe for any student not “out” to join and participate to their comfort level. Coming to a meeting doesn’t commit you to anything, membership is completely casual, and QMS would love to have you if you come every week, once a month, or even once a semester.

Our club aims to provide students with opportunities to build and display knowledge about a variety of academic and cultural topics through friendly competition during our on campus meetings and at tournaments against other colleges and universities.

The mission of the Ransom Notes is to create an open, fun and competitive a cappella environment focused on arranging, learning, and performing songs at Fall and Spring concerts and competing at ICCA’s.

Relay For Life is a life-changing event that helps communities across the globe celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Relay For Life is also the signature event of the American Cancer Society

The Kenyon College Renegade Theatre Company provides First-year students an Opportunity to get involved with theatre at Kenyon in a Smaller and Safer setting than as a part of the greater Kenyon Theatre Community. Many First-years are hesitant and/or unable to join All-campus Productions because they are in Competition with Upperclassmen. The Renegade Theatre Company offers the Opportunity for First-years to be a part of a Professional Production in a Supportive, Cooperative environment in which every Participant has Equal Opportunity.

We are a diverse group of students who subscribe to political ideologies in the center and right. We provide a place for discussion of current political issues and an alternative to the majority of liberal voices on campus. We encourage Kenyon to support diversity of political thought.

The Roosevelt Institute is a national think-tank for students interested in policy change in their college or university, the area surrounding their college or university and the country as a whole. The Roosevelt Institute works as a national network to facilitate student's policy ideas through advising and financial support.

The goal of Russian Club is to promote an interest in Russian language and culture in an open and fun setting. We will host a variety of events each semester relating to Russian culture, as well as smaller field trips for students who are interested.

Sexual Misconduct Advisors is a group of students and staff who promote an environment of respectful and consensual sexual relationships at Kenyon. We are trained to respond to anyone who experiences a form of sexual misconduct in a confidential, knowledgeable and caring way. The SMAs are available to listen to allegations, provide information regarding policy and options, link students to appropriate resources if desired and most importantly provide support.

Sisterhood is an organization that unifies Kenyon's women of color through fellowship and discussion. Sisterhood aims to explore issues faced by women of color on and off campus.

We offer fun, non-alcoholic events both on campus and off campus on weekends and occasional weekdays for the student body.

SPS attempts to cultivate ties between Kenyon physics enthusiasts and the professional realm of scientists. It also prepares students for future careers by planning off campus trips to laboratories and conferences.

The South Asian Society encourages discourse among the student body at the College by initiating conversations pertaining to South Asia and raising awareness about its diverse traditions and experiences. The Society’s definition of South Asia includes, but is not limited to, the countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka as well as South Asian diaspora communities in six continents. The organization seeks to develop student interest in South Asia and South Asian diaspora communities. The group raises awareness about the diverse cultures and religions as well as the political and socio-economic issues of the region through scholarly, cultural and experiential programming. We actively engage in dialogue with the campus about South Asian issues. We provide the Kenyon community opportunities to explore the multi-faceted nature of South Asian identities and experiences. The organization has an inclusive view of South Asia. It therefore actively embraces South Asian pluralism while celebrating South Asian diversity. The Society actively avoids constructing hierarchies of South Asian cultures and identities. This student-led organization will contribute to discourse pertaining to multiculturalism. The group will examine and add to existing perspectives on South Asia and global South Asian diaspora communities.

Kenyon Squash team strives to represent Kenyon in squash competition at the intercollegiate level and to develop/promote a life-long love of squash.

StageFemmes, a theatre company at Kenyon College, seeks to showcase the underrepresented talents of women in all aspects of theatre. Created out of a need for opportunities for female artists, StageFemmes aims to produce work that is relevant, challenging, and innovative. In addition to a full theatrical season, StageFemmes hosts workshops, master classes, and discussions and serves as a resource for male and female students interested in the arts.

The K-STEM Program offers a variety of activities that increase student, faculty, and alumni interaction within the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) community and Kenyon community at large. The main components of K-STEM are the Mentoring Program, Community Outreach and Service Program, Professional Workshops, Science Cafe, and Newsletter. The Kenyon STEM mentoring program encourages students to discover opportunities in STEM fields while fostering their development as young professionals. We aim to build a diverse community - of students, faculty, staff and alumni - that will empower students to explore, define, and reflect upon their personal and professional goals. This community will facilitate awareness of resources on campus and beyond by sharing knowledge and experiences and by cultivating personal relationships. These relationships will form a professional network that extends beyond the Kenyon campus and will follow our members in all of their endeavors. K-STEM develops and offers professional workshops on professional development topics such as "How to Write a Personal Statement" and "Professional Communication for STEM careers" and organizes student panels on topics such as "How to Find your Summer Internship". While developing strong professional skills that will lead to success in STEM fields, K-STEM also reaches out to the community through hosting Science Cafes that bridge academic departments such as neuroscience and philosophy. K-STEM further reaches out to Knox County through coordinating events with SPI Spot in Mount Vernon, a non-profit organization that brings people of all ages together to explore science and technology through play.

The ACS chapter at Kenyon aims to give students who are interested in Chemistry a place to learn about and enjoy chemistry in a setting outside of the classroom with other students who share similar passions. The objects of this chapter shall be to secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, foster an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern chemist, and to be role models for incoming students interested in chemistry and STEM.(adopted from the American Chemical Society bylaws).

We are an organization committed to bringing relevant speakers to Kenyon College for the benefit of the students and faculty. Student lectureships is an open group that is student run and welcomes anyone interested in contributing their skills to create an intelligent and entertaining lecture series at Kenyon.

The Student Life branch of Student Council. We manage the approval of groups, as well as address issues relevant to lives of students on campus.

Our goal is to establish discussion on the Kenyon campus and encourage action in local schools and communities regarding gun violence. We intend to bring speakers, show films, and have campus-wide discussions as well as hold information campaigns in Knox County schools.

It shall be the purpose of Students for Justice in Palestine to engage the Kenyon community through public education, the sponsorship of lectures and film screenings, and community discussions on the subject of human rights violations in Israel and occupied Palestine. Kenyon’s mission statement reads, “in campus discourse, we encourage a multiplicity of voices and viewpoints.” The establishment of Students for Justice in Palestine at Kenyon reflects the desire of a group of students to publicly and formally identify their commitment to create a space on campus where students who wish to learn more about injustice in Israel and occupied Palestine can gather to grow together, academically, intellectually, and ethically.

KCTC meets every two weeks to host board game nights, and once monthly for an evening murder mystery event.

As Kenyon's Premier Co-ed Jazz a cappella group, Take Five brings its love of jazz and a cappella music to campus through a Winter concert, a Winter Tour, and a Spring Concert (as well as at other functions throughout the year). Our repertoire includes standards and modern jazz, as well as selections from the funk, blues and Motown genres.

The Ballpoint Whalers are an improv comedy group which performs 20-45 minute plays based on one suggestion from the audience, set in worlds a little different from our own - where one social institution or custom is different enough to make our audience question it once they re-enter the real world. We're open to anyone who's willing to learn the basics of improvised theater, and aim to do at least three shows a semester throughout every semester we exist.

The Collegian Magazine tells stories about Kenyon College, Gambier, and the surrounding Knox County area. We publish one issue a semester, allowing ourselves the opportunity to cover topics with more depth and grace than is feasible in a weekly newspaper. In addition to long feature stories, the Magazine includes photo essays and journals, statistics, and humor columns.

The Company: Kenyon College’s premiere parody musical theatre dance troupe. Founded in 2008, The Company began as a humble group of friends looking to expand the opportunity to perform musical theater on Kenyon’s campus. Over the years, the group has evolved to encompass pop, rap, alternative and spoken word music (in addition to show-tunes) - if it has a beat, we can and will dance to it. The Company is known for their explosive choreography and laugh-out-loud comedic routines. We combine an appreciation for dance, song, fashion, and performance art. The Company performs to packed audiences, both as a warm-up act for other Kenyon acapella groups, or as a standalone performance. “The Company: It Does A Body Good.”

The Kenyon Thrill is a blog dedicated to delivering campus news and commentary to the campus in a way that is both fast and fun.

Theta Delta Phi fosters growth of its members by upholding the ideals of academic excellence, community involvement, visionary leadership, and social responsibility. Our core values, unity, honor, wisdom, courage, and sincerity, are embraced and exemplified by our members.

Transition Mission is a student run community service group that works with the Knox County Education Service Center’s Transition Mission department, which is geared towards career development for young adults with disabilities from the Knox County Community.

We are a student stand-up comedy troupe. Our aim is the make the public laugh, and also to provide students with an outlet if they wish to try this unique performing art form, which most do not have experience doing.

Wellness is both a division house and a student organization that is dedicated to the support of all healthy living styles. The components of healthy living styles include: mental peace of mind, physical fitness, substance-free living, emotional stability, and a balance between social, academic, and personal interests. Wellness strives to provide space and support for students with such lifestyle goals through its substance-free living space and its substance-free campus events.

WKCO seeks to provide students both a creative outlet and hands-on experience with broadcasting. Though we are not a pre-professional organization, we do seek to allow students interested in pursuing careers in broadcast journalism, radio, or technical fields to gain knowledge and experience. We also hope to connect Kenyon students aspiring to careers in radio with alumni or other members of the Kenyon community in the field. We are dedicated to allowing students who are not committed to professional careers an outlet and form of expression, whether as a talk show host, program producer, DJ, or musician.

The Women's Rugby Club was formed to encourage knowledge of the game of rugby for Kenyon female students. The club emphasizes the friendship and camaraderie cultivated by participation in a sport. We encourage an interested and competitive athletic attitude and play competitively with other local colleges and universities.

Our goals/purposes are: To create a strong group of women who love sports but don't love the extreme intensity of varsity sports. Keeping us healthy and having fun while also being competitive with other college teams. Supplying freshmen women with an opportunity to become part of a group that is not only athletic, but also guiding off the field. "
