Our goal is to admit talented students regardless of their financial standing. We make Kenyon affordable by meeting 100 percent of demonstrated need for all admitted students through scholarships, grants, loans and campus employment. And we will meet that need for all four years. Before assuming you can’t afford Kenyon, talk to us or the Office of Financial Aid. Fill out our Net Price Calculator for an estimate of your need-based aid package.
Kenyon asks that all applicants submit scores from either the SAT or the ACT. Some students prefer one test over the other, so give both a try before deciding. International students whose language of instruction is a language other than English are required to submit scores from either the SAT or the ACT and from an English language proficiency exam. For more frequently asked questions about international applications, please refer to the International Students FAQ.
No, students who will apply in the fall of 2016 can submit scores from both the old and the new SAT.
Yes. We superscore both the SAT and the ACT, meaning that, if you take each test more than once, we will take the best score from each sub-section and create a new composite score.
No, Kenyon does not require the optional writing sections from the SAT and ACT, nor do we require that students take SAT II subject tests.
