2015: "Drunken Feminism" Podcasts
The 2015 WGS senior colloquium final project was covered in depth by the Kenyon Collegian: Led by women’s and gender studies professor Laurie Finke, students developed a podcast series following the theme "drunken feminism," with topics including women in comedy, sororities, socializing and social constructs, and students' individual experiences. Read the full Collegian article. Listen to the podcasts at soundcloud.com.
2013: The Politics of the Bathroom
This course engaged the campus community to think differently about bathrooms and how they impact our lives. The course used an often overlooked aspect of everyone's lives -- bathrooms -- as a launching point to explore issues of public and private spaces, representation and activism.
